The 9th International Rolling Conference and the 6th European Rolling Conference will be jointly organized by AIM, the Italian Society for Metallurgy.
Thanks to a long and successful series, the Rolling conferences have become the premier international event for rolling practitioners worldwide.
The target audience embraces the whole metals rolling community: flat and long products rolling, hot and cold rolling and ferrous and non-ferrous rolling. The forum will cover product and process topics, encompassing rolled product properties, quality and applications, in addition to the design, control and management of mill assets.
The Conference will bring together rolling practitioners, steel producers, plant designers and researchers and it will provide a forum for best practices and state-of-the-art technology. It will also take a look at developments in the foreseeable future.

La scuola di dottorato AIAS su Advances in Fracture Mechanics: Theory and Application.
Tale iniziativa si svolgerà a Ferrara dal 17 al 20 giugno 2013, ed è destinata a tutti i giovani ricercatori. La partecipazione all’evento prevede, per gli iscritti alla scuola di dottorato, il rilascio di un attestato valido per l’accreditamento del corso (5CFU). La quota di iscrizione comprende anche la copertura dell’alloggio in una struttura alberghiera convenzionata se l’iscrizione avverrà entro il 27/03/2013. Ulteriori supporti logistici potranno essere garantiti in funzione del numero di partecipanti.
